THE VERSUS SHOW:
"VERSUS" is an intense competition that pits two tattoo artists against each other in an epic battle of creativity and skill. In each episode, two talented tattoo artists are challenged to create unique tattoos based on unexpected themes or concepts. With only a few hours to spare and under pressure of time, they must prove why they are the best in the business.
Format:

Two Tattoo Artists: Each episode features two professional tattoo artists, selected from different styles and art schools.

Theme: A different theme in each episode – from realism and traditional, to abstract styles or unusual challenges (tattooing on a difficult area or using limited colors).

Time Limit: Artists only have 5 hours to complete their tattoos. The limited time increases the tension and requires creativity under pressure.
Jury:
A panel of judges, made up of a combination of tattoo industry veterans, visual art experts, and a special guest (such as a celebrity tattoo enthusiast), reviews each entry. They evaluate based on clear criteria:

Originality: How creative and innovative the design is.

Technique: Quality of execution – lines, shadows, fine details.

Respecting the Theme: How to integrate the tattoo into the proposed theme.
Interaction with the Public:
The public vote contributes 20% to the final score.
Final:
The winning artists from each episode advance to the knockout rounds, leading to a spectacular finale where two of the best tattoo artists face off for the ultimate title of Tattoo Master and a significant prize.
Stake:
In addition to the prestige, the winner receives a financial prize and international exposure on the Tat-Too.TV platform. In addition, their work will be presented in a special virtual gallery dedicated to the show "Versus" + many other prizes. More information coming soon.
The show "VERSUS" runs over 6 exciting editions, in which the most talented tattoo artists face off to demonstrate their mastery. Each episode brings a new challenge and an intense creative battle. The best of the participants will reach the Grand Final, which will take place during the Inked Up Meet Up event, part of the Bucharest 2025 International Tattoo Convention.
The judging process: how does it work?
Clear evaluation criteria
The jury evaluates the works based on a well-defined set of criteria:
Technique: quality of lines, shadows and fine details.
Creativity: originality of design.
Composition: how the elements are arranged in the tattoo.
Respect for the theme: whether the tattoo respects the imposed theme (if applicable).
Degree of difficulty: complexity of execution.
Vote distribution
The final score is constructed as follows:
Main jury (40%):
Each of the two main members gives a score from 1 to 10 for each criterion, contributing 20% to the total score.
Special guest (40%):
The guest provides a similar score (1-10) and adds a unique perspective.
The public (20%):
The audience's preferences are expressed exclusively on the tat-too.tv platform, during the 30-day voting period, and represent 20% of the total score.
Detailed feedback
Each juror provides participants with clear feedback, including strengths and suggestions for improvement. This way, the process is transparent and participants can develop their skills.Public voting process

To ensure fairness, verification measures are applied, such as restricting to one vote per device/IP.
Calculating the final score
The scores are combined as follows:

The main jury gives artist A: 16 points (out of 20) and artist B: 18 points.
The special guest gives artist A: 8 points and artist B: 7 points.
The public, through the votes cast on tat-too.tv, gives artist A: 55% of the votes (converted into 11 points out of 20) and artist B: 45% (9 points out of 20).
Final score: Artist A = 35 points, Artist B = 34 points.
This system balances the perspective of experts with the preferences of the public, providing a transparent, fair and interactive judging process.
